I dropped a bottle of wine out of a brown paper bag.....they delivered it back. Enough said

This has been my favorite neighborhood store!! I've been doing business with them Mohammed and his kids and grandchildren. THE BEST!!

The best liquor store cat I know of. Sometimes I even buy something there, just so I can hang out with the cat. Highly recommended!

O' Looney's Market is an interesting name. reviews mentions Mohamed is the proprietor. market neatly stocked with gourmet items, fine wines, microbrews, hard liquor, sodas, teas, microwave eats, et al. all priced (not cheapo, but reasonable, top range) drink "coba": aqua fresca, jamaica. (.99) -natural flavors, semi sweet, still 16 grams of sugar. -refreshing, little after taste. drips -4 stars cuz everything is priced u don't have to buy it. u don't get sticker shock, pricing transparent. -smiling checkout.

Great place to pick up some cool dinner wine and stab somebody with a fork. "... and I want you to stop STEALING MY VODKA!!!"

Amazing hours, and they always seem to have exactly what I need, regardless of how esoteric it may be (like Ben and Jerry's Phish Food ice cream). The ultimate in sketchiness, but who cares? It's the Lower Haight.

Mohamed and Junior rule. I have had a longer relationship with them than I have with any other liquor store owners/employees/family. Amazing selection of beers, you can play name that liquor and probably find it, and there are GREAT deals on Alize. Does anybody drink Alize? Ask Junior about his Alize discount. Nasty. What were those rappers thinking mentioning Alize. WTF??? This was one of the only places I could find Brass Monkey through the 90's, but it has gone the way of the dinosaurs. Too damn bad. This is the LAST place open in the Lower Haight. "Damn... it's 1:45 and we are running out of beer/smokes/Jameson/etc. Oh. O'Looneys!!!" They have hot pockets and frozen burritos. I never eat those, but my friend Misty swears by their hot pockets. Hot pockets sounds like a bi-porn in the 70's. (Terry and her/his Hot Pockets get Loose) Name a better liquor store. I know of a few that are on par with this joint, but really. Name one. I thought so.

I love the Mohamed's. They are great guys. Did you know the Dad (the eldest Mohamed) has something like 42 grandkids? That's just amazing in a sort of over populating the world way. I go here almost everyday. There is always something I need at their store. I also know that when I am in there I am either totally safe, or in the firing line. They take no shit in this place at all. Young Mohamed has a temper on him and he has no compunctions to letting it rip when he feels threatened.
